LG Out of Warranty Support
Service Agreement

At LG Electronics Canada, Inc. ("LG") we are pleased to be able to provide our customers with exceptional service options such as the LG out of warranty support. For a pre-disclosed set price, the LG out of warranty support includes the service, parts, and home visit required to fix multiple functional issues affecting an eligible LG product. The LG out of warranty support is, however, subject to certain limitations and subject to change.

Not all LG products or situations qualify for the LG out of warranty support, and the LG out of warranty support is not available in all areas of Canada. Products used for multi-family dwelling or commercial use, products that have been altered, neglected, refurbished, sold or purchased 'as is,' or products where the serial plate attached to the unit has been removed, defaced or otherwise been made illegible are not eligible for the LG out of warranty support. Age of product may also affect eligibility. To determine if your product qualifies for the LG out of warranty support, visit lgoutofwarranty.ca or speak with a LG service representative at 1-888-542-2623. Prices for the LG out of warranty support vary based on year, model and serial number of product. Customer may cancel purchase of the LG out of warranty support, within 72 hours of the purchase without penalty. A visit charge will apply for customer cancellations if a technician has performed an initial visit to your home.

The LG out of warranty support does not cover repairs involving extensive damage to units, including fire, improper gas, electrical or water connections. Solely at LG's discretion, LG may choose to repair products where cosmetic damage is restricted to one symptom: i.e., cracked cooktop, single dent on door, etc. In such cases, repairs will address only one damage point (for instance, one dent on one door). Multiple damages on units will require multiple flat rate calls if applicable. Note that repairs booked for cosmetic issues are by no means guaranteed, and accepted / serviced exclusively at the discretion of LG. Under the LG out of warranty support, LG may, at its option and discretion, repair, replace or exchange, parts or components with an equivalent that is new or refurbished. Purchase of the LG out of warranty support does not guarantee repair of product. In the event LG deems that the product cannot be repaired within the scope of the LG out of warranty support, customer will be refunded the cost of the LG out of warranty support, less a charge for the in home visit.

Repairs made under the LG out of warranty support are warranted for the 90 days immediately following the date of the initial service visit. Warranty is limited to repair of the original issue disclosed, and does not cover damage related to fire, improper storage, improper ventilation, improper installation, misuse, abuse, reconfiguration of product, improper movement of product, use of the product that is inconsistent with the design of the product or the way the manufacturer intended the product to be used, repair by persons other than a LG authorized service technician, operator negligence, failure to maintain product, accident, mishandling, vandalism, fire, flood, wind, freezing, power failure, inadequate power supply, acts of war, acts of god, or equipment used in an industrial or commercial setting. Warranty does not cover any other damages or associated losses, including but not limited to, consequential or incidental damage (including food losses), lost time, lost savings, damage due to delays or failure in furnishing parts or services, for inability to render service, or for other any reason. All express and implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the 30 days immediately following the date of the LG out of warranty support initial service visit. No warranties express or implied, will apply after this period. Unless otherwise governed by applicable provincial law, the LG out of warranty support and warranty will be interpreted and out of warranty support enforced according to the laws of the Province of Ontario.
